When Student Voices Are Heard, Communities Grow

Leadership does not begin with experience — it begins with being heard.
For many students, ASB is the first place where they learn that their ideas matter. They plan events, solve problems, and speak on behalf of their peers. Sometimes they succeed. Sometimes they struggle. In both cases, they grow.
When adults and community members take the time to listen to students, something powerful happens. Students gain confidence. They learn accountability. They understand that leadership is built on trust and collaboration. And the community benefits from fresh perspectives and renewed energy.
The partnership between ASB and Boosters is about more than logistics or funding. It is about creating a culture where students feel supported and empowered, and where the community feels connected to the school in meaningful ways. This partnership helps ensure that student-led ideas have the guidance and backing they need to succeed.
Tonight is an opportunity to hear directly from those student leaders.
Join us tonight, Monday, February 9, at 7:00 pm to hear from Theresa Borgford and two ASB student leaders as they share the impact of ASB, what they are working toward, and how our community can support them throughout the year. Join Here.
Action:
Come listen. Ask questions. Encourage a student leader. Your presence sends a clear message: what students are building here matters. Join Here.
