💚 Help Us Save C-Team Sports at Marysville Getchell High School 💛

At Marysville Getchell High School, sports are more than games—they're a place for growth, belonging, and opportunity. Whether it's learning to work as a team, gaining confidence, or simply finding a safe space to thrive, athletics play a powerful role in shaping our students.

But this year, we’re facing a major challenge. We've been informed by the district that C-Team sports will not be funded for the 2025–2026 school year—unless we, the MG community, raise the funds ourselves.

That’s where you come in.

🚨 The Goal: $40,000 by September

C-Team programs are often the entry point for young athletes—especially freshmen and those new to their sport. Eliminating these teams would mean fewer opportunities, more cuts, and lost chances for students who need them the most.

In response, the Green & Gold Booster Club has launched a campaign to raise $40,000 by the start of the next school year to fund all C-Team sports at MG.

We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it without your help.

✨ How You Can Help:

1. Donate to the Direct Giving Campaign

Every dollar goes directly to supporting C-Team athletics. No amount is too small—every bit helps us get one step closer.👉 Give Now

💬 Why It Matters

Cutting C-Team sports doesn't just affect players—it impacts our school spirit, community culture, and the future of MG athletics. These programs are often the only chance for students to try something new, to fail safely, and to grow into the varsity athletes and leaders we cheer for down the line.

If we want to continue building strong teams, we must first give them a place to begin.

Let’s come together—parents, alumni, neighbors, and local businesses—to keep our kids on the field, on the court, and in the game.

Thank you for always showing up for our students.

Go Chargers!
