Kicking Off the Year at MGHS – What a Start!

The halls of Marysville Getchell High School are buzzing again—and we couldn’t be more excited!

Freshmen, you’ve now had two full days on campus to start finding your way around, meeting your teachers, and learning that yes, the walk from one side of campus to the other is totally a warm-up for P.E. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors: you got your first day back to reconnect with friends, meet your new classes, and shake off that summer sleep schedule (well… mostly).

And now? We roll into next week with no school on Monday - another short week! Honestly, what better way to ease into the year?

Athletes – Game On!

Fall sports are already in motion, with practices in full swing and the first competitions just around the corner. Whether you’re lacing up cleats, spiking a volleyball, or running the field under Friday night lights, this is your chance to set the tone for the season. Play hard, play fair, and remember: every Charger out there is part of something bigger than the scoreboard.

Musicians – Let’s Hear It!

From the pep band’s first notes at the game to the wind ensemble's warm-up before a concert, our musicians bring the soundtrack to the school year. You set the beat for our school spirit, and we can’t wait to hear what you’ve been working on. Keep practicing—you never know who’s listening from the stands or the crowd.

Seniors – This is Your Year

Class of 2026, you’ve officially started your final lap at MGHS. Soak it in—the first days, the last first day photos, the moments that will turn into memories faster than you think. Lead with pride, cheer on your classmates, and set the example for the underclassmen watching you.
