It’s here—the final first day of high school for the Marysville Getchell Class of 2026. For seniors, this year is about milestones, memories, and making it count. For parents, it’s about pride, reflection, and maybe a few “how did we get here so fast?” moments.
The Green & Gold Booster Club is here to celebrate you every step of the way—on the field, on the stage, in the classroom, and at every special event in between.
1. Make the Most of Senior Year
Attend spirit days, dances, games, and performances—you’ll never have this exact season of life again.
Get involved in clubs, leadership opportunities, or volunteer events.
Be present for the little moments: hanging out in the commons, cheering with friends, late-night study sessions.
2. Stay on Top of Key Dates
Senior portraits, yearbook deadlines, graduation orders, Grad Night ticket sales—mark them on your calendar now.
Hint - MG's Homecoming Game is on October 10 followed by the Homecoming Dance on October 11!
Follow MGHS and the Green & Gold Booster Club on social media so nothing slips by.
3. Parents—Capture the Journey
Take pictures at every “last” moment, even if your senior rolls their eyes.
Keep a memory box or folder for programs, photos, and notes—you’ll be glad you did when graduation day comes.
4. Look Ahead, but Enjoy Now
Yes, college applications, career planning, and next steps are important.
But don’t rush through this year—there’s so much to savor before the cap and gown.
💚💛 Class of 2026, this is your moment. Parents, this is your joy to witness. Let’s make this a year we’ll all remember—and celebrate—together.
