At Marysville Getchell High School, gratitude isn’t just something we say — it’s something we show.

From the parents setting up concession stands, to the coaches who stay late, to the students cheering each other on long after the lights fade — gratitude lives in every corner of Charger Nation. 💛

This month, as we step into November, we’re celebrating a theme that captures the heart of our community: Gratitude in Action.

⚡ Gratitude That Moves

When we talk about gratitude in action, we’re not just talking about saying “thank you.” We’re talking about:

• The early morning rides to practice.

• The volunteers who give up their Saturdays to run youth camps.

• The sponsors who believe in our students’ potential.

• The classmates who clap for every performer, not just their friends.

That’s what it means to be part of Charger Country — to show appreciation through effort, encouragement, and action.

💚 Every Charger Counts

Every team. Every family. Every fan. It all matters.

Each year, our Booster Club supports hundreds of students — athletes, musicians, and an entire class of seniors — thanks to a community that doesn’t just say “Go Chargers!” but shows up for them.

When you buy a spirit shirt, attend a fundraiser, or volunteer at an event, you’re doing more than supporting a program. You’re helping fund opportunities, build confidence, and keep the Charger spirit alive.

Because gratitude, when shared, becomes momentum. ⚡

💛 A Month to Celebrate

Throughout November, we’ll be highlighting stories of gratitude in action — the people and moments that make our school stronger. From parents and teachers to coaches and students, this month is all about saying:

“Thank you for showing up. Thank you for giving back. Thank you for being a Charger.”

We’ll also be sharing ways you can keep the momentum going through Giving Tuesday on December 2 — an opportunity to support our programs and continue building the incredible legacy of Green & Gold pride that defines Marysville Getchell.
