Thankful for Our Chargers, Our Families, and Our Volunteers

When we talk about what makes Marysville Getchell special, it always comes back to one thing: our people. 💛

The 2025-2026 school year is off to a great start; but let's take a look back at the 2024-2025 school year. So many amazing accomplishments — all because of the way our Charger community came together. Parents, coaches, teachers, local businesses, and volunteers gave their time, talents, and hearts to make sure our students could dream bigger, do more, and shine brighter.

And the results? Absolutely incredible. ⚡

💚 What We Accomplished — Together

This year, the Green & Gold Booster Club and our community:

• Supported 70+ fundraisers across 24 teams and programs

• Hosted 23 youth camps to inspire the next generation of Chargers

• Funded $24,555 so our freshmen athletes could have C-teams and a place to grow

• Covered the cost of graduation at Angel of the Winds Arena 🎓

• Created and hung 74 sponsorship boards and signs

• Assembled 163 auction baskets (and countless hours organizing them!)

• Awarded $4,000 in college scholarships to graduating seniors

• Made 215 custom shirts and 250 cinch sacks

• Sent 102 students to perform at Disneyland 🏰🎶

• Supported 650 student athletes and musicians

• Honored 334 graduating seniors with pride and love 💚

⚡ The Heart Behind the Numbers

Every statistic on that list represents people — the volunteers who stayed late to wrap auction baskets, the parents who spent weekends running fundraisers, the sponsors who proudly displayed our Charger colors in their businesses, and the students who gave their best effort day after day.

We know it can sometimes feel like we’re always asking — for donations, time, or support. But every single contribution, no matter how big or small, adds up to something powerful. When we come together, we don’t just raise money — we raise opportunities, confidence, and community spirit.
